Reflection:

You can’t go to someone else and tell them to do everything for you, if it’s not your hands that are working for it then it is not considered yours. You have to work hard to get what you want otherwise you’re not getting anything the right way. For example, if you are the type of student that is always coping people and you never break your head like they have to do it to come up with all the answer then that is getting what you want by CTW it is not right to take advantage of people just because you know they won’t speak up or because you know that if you pay someone they will do your work well it is not right.

Duties and Responsibilities: They are also called Otolaryngologists, they deal with surgery in the ear nose and throat. They also give treatment, it is from all ages. They help their patients in the privacy and comfort of their own home, medical clinics and hospital settings.

Abraham Lincoln was a good man, in the beginning of the video, he was temped to drink whiskey by a man whom he was traveling with and he replied no. After that he was temped and asked again if he wanted a cigar. Lincoln then told a short story, about how his mother was sick, he had made a promise to her that he wouldn't drink or smoke. This doesn't really relate to me because I don't make promises, i just do it beforehand.

Duties and responsibilities:

Speech pathologists are in charge of assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. They communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determine the extent of communication problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests, identify treatment options, create and carry out an individualized treatment plan, they teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices, teach alternative communication methods, work with patients on improving their ability to read and write correctly, work with patients on developing strength on the muscles used to swallow, and counsel patients and families on how to cope with communication disorders.

Sonographers operate special Imaging equipment to create images and conduct tests. Some assist physicians and surgeons during surgical procedures. They prepare patients for procedures by taking a patients history and answering questions. They operate equipment to obtain diagnostic images or conduct tests, they analyze the images or test results to check for quality, and they record findings and keep track of patients’ records.

They analyze much type of work environments and procedures. They insect workplaces and check if its save and sanitary to work and do procedures in the places. They also design programs to prevent disease or injury to work and environments.

Education: You need a bachelor’s degree. But if you want to become a specialists you must go to training.You must receive on the job training.

Reflection: I would not like to be an environmental health specialist and sanitarian because it seems like a boring job to me. It seems like it’s more of a job where you must be creative and have patients and watch things closely.

Research Scientists work to improve life and health by increasing the world's knowledge about their chosen field of study.  Their interests are many and varied, and often they focus their research in biochemistry, genetics, immunology, microbiology, marine biology, molecular biology, physics, or pathology.  Research scientists may work independently or as part of a team.  Most work in research laboratories, but many work in field situations or teach in colleges, universities, and medical schools.

Reflection: When you act upon anything you do or how you reaction, it shows your character. you need to always think about what you do. Ex: if you find a lost phone you need to give it to the nearest office or any where around the location which they can save it till the owner comes, you should do the right thing because you dont know how hard they worked for it or there parents.

 Duties and responsibilities:

Respiratory therapy technicians are also called respiratory therapy assistants, respiratory care assistants or respiratory therapist assistants. They assist respiratory therapists (RT) and doctors to provide medical treatment to people that have breathing and cardiopulmonary problems such as asthma or emphysema. They can also provide medical aid under the direction of RT’s to people suffering from shock, heart attack and drowning as well as adults that have lungs problems or babies with undeveloped lungs.
