This quote is saying that they rather be alone than to be with people that have a bad influence on them. I guess i sort of agree but at the same time you don't have to follow that persons exact steps i have friends who choose the wrong but that doesn't mean i am going to do it also i follow my own rules and my opinions and values. i have my own brain i can think for myself.
